Wow, what an awesome second season to Rehoboth’s participation with the Associated and Catholic Colleges (ACC) competitions. Wycliffe Win the 2018 Swimming Carnival

The Rehoboth Primary Swimming Carnival took place at Riverton Leisureplex on Friday 10 March. The carnival was attended by all students in Years 4-6 from both Wilson and Kenwick Campuses and provides an opportunity for some students to showcase their swimming abilities, while others get to put into practice what they have learnt at swimming lessons in the weeks prior.

Newton House Makes History

A piece of Rehoboth history was made today as Newton House won the 2017 Primary Swimming Carnival.

For many years the Newton team has watched on as their counterparts held up numerous trophies, but finally it was their turn, edging out Tyndale 1048 to 1034. Wycliffe rounded out the table with 988 points, making the Carnival a closely fought competition.

We had a great day for the Swimming Carnival on Monday this week. The students were excited, the new PE teacher was perhaps just a little nervous, and everyone was ready to do their best and to cheer everyone on.

It was with much excitement that the children in Pre-Primary to Year 3 boarded the bus to go to StateSwim last Monday. We consider water safety to be very important in a country like Australia and this was a great opportunity for the students to develop their skills.
