It has been a wonderful start to our Pre-Primary journey. Meeting new friends and being reunited with our special friends from Kindy. We are very busy in Pre-Primary and no day is ever the same. Each day starts by putting God first and reading a devotional Bible story. In Pre-Primary, we use the book ‘The Ology’ which explores the BIG TRUTHS about God’s Word. Students love listening to stories from God’s Word. We have been exploring how each of us are “Fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14) and how God created each of us in His image. We are so unique, we even have our own finger print!
During our Literacy time, we have been learning all about initial sounds. So far we have already learnt 9 sounds – ‘s’, ‘a’, ‘t’, ‘p’, ‘i’, ‘n’, ‘m’ and ‘c’. On a Monday, Mrs. Pollock has a mystery box which has some clues inside to help us think about what sound we might be learning about. It is always so exciting to put our hands inside and guess what it could be….
