Primary Principal (Wilson Campus)
We are seeking a purposeful and dynamic Primary Principal to join the team at our Wilson Campus. The suitable applicant will be responsible for the leadership and management of day-to-day activities of the Campus. It presents a unique opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced educational leader to work within a Leadership Team that embraces a strategic approach. To be successful in this role you must be reliable, respectful, an exceptional communicator and an innovative and critical thinker, able to transform creative, original ideas into reality. Previous experience as a Christian educator will be favourably considered.
The Principal will have a transition period of one year (2022) as a Specialist Consultant: Teaching and Learning (K-12) and will work alongside our current Principal. The incumbent will be responsible for developing a Teaching and Learning framework to expand differentiation and extension at the College. The incumbent will offer vital support for teachers in the delivery of best practice teaching and learning programs within a distinctly Christian environment.
As role models to the children, the behaviour, conduct and lifestyle of all staff members, for the duration of their employment, must be of the highest standard and be consistent with the Bible, and with the Westminster Confession of Faith and/or the Three Doctrines of Unity as standards of interpretation of the bible. It is essential that the person and office of the Principal be committed to providing Biblically based leadership and management at the School in a manner consistent with the College’s Christian values and ethos.
Essential criteria for the successful candidate:
- Applicants must be actively involved in a Protestant Christian Church and be able to demonstrate an exemplary Christian lifestyle.
- must hold a Working with Children Check/Card and a TRBWA registration.
- must hold or be willing to obtain a Department of Education Police Clearance Check no more than three months old.
