Secondary House Swimming Carnival 2024

Secondary House Swimming Carnival 2024

We are counter-cultural to the ‘win at all costs’ mentality, yet still strive for excellence for the glory of God alone!

The Interhouse Swimming Carnival at Rehoboth witnessed fierce competition among Tyndale, Wycliffe, and Newton. Despite the enthusiastic efforts from all houses, Wycliffe emerged victorious, showcasing exceptional talent and determination. Amidst cheers and applause, all competitors graciously congratulated all the champions and runners-up, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and sportsmanship.

Our focus on participating in sporting events is always about using the gifts and talents that God has given us and, in the process, attributing all the glory to Him. Whether it is celebration in success or learning through failure, sport teaches us a lot about ourselves and each other and builds both community and resilience. It is our prayer for our students that as we compete – we are counter-cultural to the ‘win at all costs’ mentality, yet still strive for excellence for the glory of God alone!
