Rehoboth Takes the Bronze!

Rehoboth Takes the Bronze!

Well done to 13 of our students who finished in the top 10 – an excellent achievement when running against such a large field!

The WACSSA Cross Country Carnival was held at Thomas Oval in Medina on a perfect day! The top three competitors in each event from our own House Cross Country Carnival were selected to represent the College. Conditions could not have been any better – blue skies, a gentle breeze, and the anticipation of the run ahead, lingering in the air.

Our students performed consistently well across the carnival, despite only one student finishing in the top three. Well done to Shayden W, who received the Year 2 Boys Silver Medal for his outstanding run. We had a total of 13 students finish in the top 10, which is an excellent achievement when running against such a large field. This consistency enabled our College’s cumulative results to go one better than last year, with Rehoboth finishing in 3rd place overall in Division One – an excellent team result!

Thank you to Mrs Narelle Henderson, Mrs Nicole Marmion, and Mrs Theresa Hunter for their assistance throughout the day. It was also great to have the support of many of our parents and families on the sidelines.

Well done to all the members of the cross country team, for the way they were able to use their gifts to run to the best of their ability, and also for the positive way they represented the College.
