Fierce Competition at Secondary Interschool Cross Country

The competition was fierce with our students relishing the opportunity to compete against the best in the state.

The Rehoboth Cross Country Team participated in the ACC Interschool Cross Country Carnival on Thursday 27 May. This event puts athletes from over 90 schools against one another with each race consisting of around 300 students. The competition was fierce with our students relishing the opportunity to compete against the best in the state.

Fresh off her Top Ten achievement in the School Sport WA Cross Country Competition, Year 11 student, Kayla Bongers achieved a very notable 8th Place finish out of 279 Runners in the Girls Open event.

Year 9 student, Ivan Nagel also achieved a Top 20 finish, coming in 17th out of 310 runners in the Boys U15 at a pace of 3.38 min/km for the 4km event, which shows how competitive this event was.

Well done to all competitors and big thank you to Mr Pretorius for ‘running’ the Reho Run Club each Tuesday morning!
