Rehoboth has a strong history of being well-represented in basketball competitions and 2020 continued the trend.
On 16 September, the Senior Boys and Girls Basketball teams took part in the ACC SEAS Interschool Basketball Carnival.
The Senior Boys played exceptionally well. They only dropped one game in the round-robin fixtures by a few points and collected themselves to perform impressively in the Final. Despite a late comeback from opponents Dale, the boys held on to take the title. Special mentions to outstanding performances from Year 10 student, Victor Komaiya and Year 9 student, Isaac Lai.
The Senior Girls had a slow start against a fast-paced Providence team, who would go on to convincingly win each game that day. However, our Girls matched it with Dale and defeated Southern Hills to show solid strategic growth throughout the day. Year 12 student Emily Bronkhurst anchored the team well and the day was a great opportunity to learn and develop.
