A fine performance and an excellent day overall for students to use their gifts and abilities in community with other Christian Schools.
The Rehoboth Senior Volleyball Teams travelled to a new venue this year to participate in the ACC South-Eastern Associated Schools (SEAS) carnival.
At the Cockburn ARC, Rehoboth took on teams from Dale, Providence, Carey Forrestdale and Southern Hills.
Over the years, this carnival has developed into a high-level competition and this year did not disappoint.
The Senior Girls played excellently throughout the day, and did not drop a set, demonstrating dominance on the court with smooth technique, great teamwork and minimal errors. Four wins from four, rightly earned them the title of Champions!
The Senior Boys started the day well, accounting for their opposition early, before progressing to two tough games in the afternoon. Despite putting up some fierce spikes and fantastic blocks, they could not continue their unbeaten run, and dropped to third place.
A fine performance regardless and an excellent day overall for students to use their gifts and abilities in community with other Christian Schools.
The Year 12 players in particularly were exceptional and all our students displayed excellent sportsmanship and were a credit to their College.
Thanks also go to their coaches, Mr Bratschi, Mr Butson and Mr de Bruyn who had a huge day of coaching and umpiring.
