My name is Megan Lamprecht. I am a student currently completing Year 12 and have the privilege of being the 2018 Sports Captain. In the future, I hope to attend university and complete a degree in veterinary sciences as well as zoology. I attend Life City Church and the associated youth group, The LC.
From birth I have been raised in a Christian home and I have such a passion for spending time with God and sharing His Word with others. Some hobbies I enjoy doing in my spare time include reading, playing with my puppy, and getting together with some friends.
I also have a huge passion for playing sports and participate in club swimming and hockey. Occasionally I also enjoy playing soccer with my brother. Recently I competed in the Rottnest Channel Swim which I found very challenging and a daunting experience in which I could complete with the assistance of God.
My favourite Bible verse would definitely be Joshua 1:9 – “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
This verse really motivates me to never stop trusting in God and to always believe that He is in control and will always protect me.
