Pre-Primary Red’s Teddy Bears Picnic

What a wonderful opportunity it is to talk with our students about Christ and His great love for us!

The Pre-Primary Red class from our Kenwick Campus had a fantastic end to Term 1 with a teddy bears picnic to remember Jesus’ death on the cross.

The students came to school in their pyjamas along with their favourite teddy. We spent the morning talking about what Jesus’ death meant for us. We had some great discussions! In the class, we talked about how Jesus died for our sins so we can live forever with Him one day. What fantastic news!

The day included an easter egg hunt, hot cross bun making, crown making for our teddies, and it ended with a special picnic. After a day of cooking our hot cross buns, we got to enjoy eating them with the Pre-Primary Blue class in the undercover area. It was such a fun way to end a wonderful term.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In His great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. – 1 Peter 1:3
