Cockington Green
Cockington Green was the first place we visited on the second day of our Canberra trip. There we enjoyed miniature houses and people. We competed by each group trying to take pictures of the displays. The winning team won a special prize from McDonald’s. Some of us rode the train which transported us around the garden.

Gold Creek Station
Gold Creek Station was a working farm with a herd of 500 sheep. We had a chance to hold the sheep and we saw a sheep being sheered. Afterwards, we had a filling barbeque lunch. Everyone enjoyed petting the kelpie named Davo.

Questacon
Questacon is the National Science Museum of Canberra that had many interactive things to do. The museum was set out like an expedition which we could interactively explore. The most fascinating was the robots that played air hockey and sang. The entertaining science show this year was all about nitrogen.Alex Buchanan
