An exciting opportunity has become available for a personable Human Resources Officer to join our well established and growing school community, based at our Kenwick Campus. This is an ongoing full-time position working Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm.

About the Position
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to grow and develop their career in Human Resources. In this role you will be working closely with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) drawing upon your knowledge of recruitment practices, legislation, and Workplace Agreements to provide support with tasks such as recruitment and hiring, employee performance and development, remuneration, training and inductions, and employee relations.
This will suit someone who likes to keep busy and have a variety of tasks to fill their day. No two days will be the same. You will need a ‘can do’ attitude and champion the vision, mission, and purpose of the College in everything you do. This role is pivotal in promoting a positive employee relations culture across the College.

You will also need to have exceptional organisational, administrative, and interpersonal skills and have an outstanding ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and members of the community.
Here are the essential criteria for the position:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, or related disciple;
- 3 – 5 years of experience working in a Generalist HR role;
- you must be actively involved in a local Protestant Christian church and be able to demonstrate an exemplary Christian lifestyle;
- you must be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check;
- you must be willing to obtain a Department of Education Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check; and
