This term, the Year 3 Blue class had the opportunity to learn about fire safety and prevention during a visit from the Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES). The DFES team explained about ways on how to respond to a fire emergency. The students had a chance to also use the giant hose!
Here are some take-aways that the students had from the DFES visit:
I've learned that it is good to have an emergency escape plan. The most important thing that you need to have in your house is a smoke alarm.
