In Year 10 HASS students studied the course of World War II and its impact on nations, particular groups and individuals.
This year, students were privileged to host the WWII Memorial Box from the Australian War Memorial.
The box provided engaging learning resources, including real and replica uniforms, war equipment, medals and other artefacts.
Students’ historical investigations into the significance of WWII were inspired by their engagement with materials from that era.
The experience deepened their understanding and added meaning to war memorial services.
