Yesterday was a fantastic day for our Athletics Carnival with everyone enjoying the new carnival format. The day started with every student participating in sprints, including the Pre Primary students and toddlers.
During the morning until lunch time, all students participated in the games circuit, doing their best in the traditional Egg and Spoon Race, Bean-bag Relay, Leaderball, Bouncing Ball Relay and Flag Race. We also included some skipping, parachute games and an Iron Man event.
Tired but still excited, we had lunch and then cheered the competitors in the Year 4-6 relays before cheering even louder for the Grand House Relay.
Many thanks to Mrs Norman who organised both the Jumps, Throws & Long distance events on Tuesday as well as this event, along with Mrs Klomp and also to the army of teachers, parents and Year 11 students who all assisted in making these days an outstanding community event.
Well done to every student who participated, demonstrating excellent sportsmanship and encouragement of others.
