First Days in Kindy 2019

It has been so wonderful to see all our new Kindy students begin their school journey. I am so excited to have them in my class and I can’t wait to get to know each one of them and watch them develop and grow as they learn new things.

Last week, the children enjoyed playing in the newly-renovated Early Childhood garden at the Wilson Campus. They especially enjoyed the new water pump and making a…

Welcoming Our Littlest Learners

On Friday 2 November, we had the pleasure of meeting our newest Rehobothians, the 2019 Kindy classes.

The children had a wonderful time participating in activities and getting acquainted with their teachers for next year. Mrs van Dam and Mrs Nieuwkerk, along with Miss Graham and Mrs Fleming delighted in observing and leading the children in some play-based learning.

We also had Miss Bree from the local library come to visit the children. She read them a story called “Hickory Dickory Dash,” which the children thought was a…

“I praise you for I am fearfully and wonderfully made” Psalm 139:14a

Our learning will continue over this Term as we explore our uniqueness, our senses, and how God created our families to love and care for us.

Credo 2017: On This We Stand

On Thursday 21 September, Wilson’s entire student body sang the truths of Scripture together at our school concert, filling the gymnasium with the sounds of “I Believe”. Credo 2017 was a celebration of the rediscovery of Biblical truths during the Protestant Reformation 500 years ago. The venue was “standing room” only as many family and friends attended.

We were privileged to “meet” Martin Luther, William Tyndale, John Calvin, John Wesley, and John Newton as “The…

Wet and Windy Day at Kindy

The Wet and Windy Day began with a Scavenger Hunt with many parents helping their children to find treasures around the College. It was great to help each other to find all the items and to share them at the end of the hunt.

The children enjoyed walking and playing in their raincoats and gumboots and holding their umbrellas.

The children had talked about all the things that we can do on rainy days and…
