Students Reflect on the 2018 Indonesian Mission Trip

From Sunday 15 to Tuesday 24 April a small but enthusiastic team left for the Year 11 Mission trip to Indonesia, a WACE endorsed program. As we sat at the airport waiting for our flight home, the girls wrote some thoughts and reflections on their time in Indonesia and the impact this trip had on them.

Jason on Top of the World (Again)

Congratulations to Jason Anggadjaja for being this year’s Education Perfect top student in Indonesian in the world (for the second year in a row).

In the overall languages category, Jason finished 7th globally, and was awarded an Elite Award.

Experiencing Indonesia

On 16 September, four of the Year 10 Indonesian students and both students from the Year 9 class had the opportunity to go to Indonesia with their teacher, Mrs Nathan, for an intensive learning program run by ACICIS. Throughout this trip they were able to use their knowledge of Indonesia and put their language skills to the test.

Indonesian Students Visit Rehoboth

On the last week of Term 2, we had the pleasure of having fifteen students from BPK Penabur Kota Wisata in Indonesia visit our school and stay with some of our Rehoboth families.
