A Day at the Zoo with Year 4/5

On Friday 15 June, the Kenwick Year 4/5 class visited Perth Zoo as part of our Biological Science program. Students were placed into groups and, along with their parent helper, were free to roam the zoo at their leisure.

Year 5 and 6 Visit Parliament House

On Friday, 18 November the Year 5 and 6 students went to the city to visit Parliament House.

We saw the Upper and Lower House. The Upper House had red walls and long sofas and the Lower House had blueish/greenish walls and long sofas.

Year 4 Explore Explorers!

On Friday, 4 November the students in Year 4 eagerly made their way to Fremantle to uncover the maritime history of Western Australia.

The day started at the Shipwreck Galleries, where the students examined artefacts and stories related to the first Europeans to explore the west coast of Australia. Year 9 Humanities Students visit Victoria Dam

“On 30 October our Year 9 classes went on an excursion to Victoria Dam. We went to view the structure and uses of the dam in Perth, and to find out why it is so important. We also learnt about the changes made to it over the years and how they have worked and improved the dam. Constitution Centre and Art Gallery of WA

On Wednesday, 4 November, the Wilson Year 5 and 6 classes went on a riveting excursion to the Constitution Centre and the Art Gallery of Western Australia.

Pre-Primary Dive into AQWA Excursion

Today, all the Wilson Pre-Primary students travelled to AQWA for their very first school excursion. We thoroughly enjoyed our AQWA experience of going in the tunnel on the conveyor belt to investigate the Ship Wreck Coast, being splashed by the stingrays at Stingray Bay, and touching the starfish in the Touch Pool. We also enjoyed our lunch and play at Heathcote Park.
