In our Studies of Society and Environment, we have been learning about people who serve their community in different ways. We discussed how we could do something to serve our local community and planned a visit to a local aged care facility, Agmaroy Nursing Home. After much planning and preparation, last Saturday the Wilson Campus was filled with the sounds of joy, fun, chatter, and laughter as community was celebrated. There were opportunities for families to safely enjoy the many activities, purchase bargains, and indulge in some very tasty food!
