So Many Things to be Thankful For

This year, our College community celebrates 50 years at Rehoboth. We have so much to be thankful to God for over that time. In Colossians 3:15-17 it says:

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts .And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

Our class has been thinking about some of the different things that we could be thankful to God for when reflecting on the past 50 years. We have also been looking at the way that we are all part of Rehoboth’s history, as we enjoy the privilege of being students at this exciting time.
We would now like to share some of our thoughts with you all.

Year 4 things to be thankful for @ Rehoboth

As you can see below, there is much for us to be thankful to God for over the past 50 years. The list we came up with only touches on some of the ways that God has blessed Rehoboth over the years.

In 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 it says:

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

This scripture reminds us to keep our focus on God. We are told that through rejoicing, prayer, and thanksgiving, we are able to discover God’s will for us. These three things have been important parts of the Rehoboth community from the beginning, and we look forward to seeing them continue to be part of Rehoboth into the future, as we strive to seek God’s will in everything we do!
