Pre-Primary Red is Making a Splash!

The Kenwick Pre-Primary Red students made a splash during their very first swimming lessons! From learning water safety to building confidence and teamwork, it’s been a joyful milestone celebrating God’s provision and the gift of life.

There’s something special about the sound of laughter and splashes echoing through a pool, and this week, that joyful sound belonged to our youngest learners! With goggles on and hearts full of excitement, the children dove into their very first swimming lessons, a milestone filled with courage and joy.

Linked to our Health and Physical Education curriculum, students explored water safety, body movement, and personal responsibility while building strength, coordination, and confidence. Beyond the strokes and kicks, the lessons became a celebration of resilience and teamwork as students supported one another and embraced new challenges.

Their reflections say it all: one loved playing water games, another mastered front flips, while others delighted in learning rainbow arms and backstroke. Each splash told a story of growth, independence, and the joy of discovering new skills!
