Rehoboth Christian College
Middle School - Years 7-9
The transition from Primary to Secondary school marks a significant milestone in your child's educational journey. At Rehoboth Christian College, our Middle School program (Years 7-9) is specifically designed to acknowledge the implications that early adolescence has upon learning and to assist students in taking on the unique challenges that Secondary education brings. We prepare students with a dedicated, structured program that incorporates hands-on, learning-rich activities designed to engage students whilst teaching them problem-solving skills, creativity, and effective learning strategies that will benefit their later years of study. Our aim is to develop the potential of each student so they are prepared for upper Secondary, whilst helping them learn and grow in their understanding of God's world and their place in it.

Year 9
Year 9 marks the beginning of Junior Secondary, where students start discovering and exploring the many options and directions available to them. We firmly believe that a safe, positive learning environment where students are encouraged to do their best and always have someone to turn to for advice or assistance is critical. Year 9 students benefit from smaller class sizes (typically 20-25 students), which provides enormous advantages in terms of individual attention, teacher interaction, student involvement, pastoral care, and classroom management.

Church History promotes theological growth, challenges distortions, and encourages appreciation for God’s blessings to His people.

The programme includes some elements of parental involvement, time spent with an adult mentor and a number of camps designed to be spiritually, socially and personally challenging.

Technology & ICT Program
At Rehoboth, we believe there are considerable educational benefits to a technology-rich learning environment. Our ICT program aims to utilise technology as a tool in curriculum delivery whilst teaching students to engage with it wisely, safely, and as faithful followers of Christ.
Device Program
All students in Years 7-9 are provided with access to a Microsoft Surface Pro device along with a Microsoft account. Students retain these devices either until they are replaced by the College or the student’s course of study ends. There is no additional cost to families for these devices.

We deeply value the partnership between school and home in guiding our students to become thoughtful, respectful, and Christ-centred users of technology.
Distinctly Christian Education
Rehoboth is open to families where one or both parents are Christians and are actively part of a local Protestant church. We aim to put God first in all things, and for students to study the curriculum from a Christian worldview.
Christian Studies Program
Every day starts with prayer and devotions, and God’s Word is a fundamental part of everything we do. Students in Years 7-9 complete courses in Christian Studies, investigating:
- Books from the Bible
- Church History
- Christian missions
Biblical Worldview
Our perspective at Rehoboth is to see everything within the context of the ‘big picture’ story of Scripture:
- Creation – What God intended
- Fall – What went wrong when sin tainted the world
- Redemption – God’s plan to fix the problem of sin
- Restoration – Our response and how God will renew His creation
All curriculum at Rehoboth is taught through this biblical lens, helping students see Christ as sovereign over every aspect of their lives and learning.
Enrolments & Fees
From the moment you call or walk into one of our offices, we aim to make the enrolment process as straightforward and pleasurable as possible. We accept student enrolments on the basis that at least one parent is a committed Christian and is a regular and active member of a Protestant Christian church. A maximum of 50 places are available at each year level, consisting of two classes of 25 students each.
Fee Structure
Rehoboth’s fees are very competitive, as we are classified as a low-fee school. One of the attractive aspects of our fee structure is provision for families with multiple children, in order to make Christian education as affordable as possible:
- First child: 100% of fees
- Second child: 75% of fees
- Third child: 50% of fees
- Additional children: Zero fees
Families who complete five hours of College support in each semester receive a discounted fee rate.
Scholarships
A Principal’s Scholarship is offered to students in Years 7-12, to the value of $2,500 per year, deducted from annual College fees. Scholarships are merit-based and awarded to students who demonstrate:
- How Jesus is real in their life
