Making a Splash: Celebrating Our 2026 Swimming Carnival

Last week, our Secondary students came together for a vibrant and energetic day by the pool as we held our 2026 House Swimming Carnival. The excitement, House pride, and competitive spirit were evident from the very first race, setting the tone for an outstanding day of community and celebration.

Congratulations to Wycliffe for winning the Swimming House Carnival with 492 points and the House Bear from the Senior House Team Events. It was a tightly contested event, with Newton finishing on 480 points and Tyndale on 436 points. The final results reflect just how competitive and engaged all Houses were throughout the day.

It was great to see the effort shown by our Year 7–10 competitors, who gave their all in individual competitive events and grade relays. The effort across all year groups contributed to a vibrant and positive carnival atmosphere. Equally impressive was the enthusiasm from our Year 11 and 12 students, who fully embraced the day, participating in their team games and novelty races. Their enthusiasm, energy and House pride set a strong tone for the Secondary cohort.

Age Champions will be announced and presented at the next Secondary Assembly.
A sincere thank you also to the staff who assisted with supervision, flexibility and management. Your professionalism and support ensured the day ran smoothly and safely.

Thank you to every student who competed, supported their House and contributed to the spirit of the day.
