An opportunity has become available for a qualified Christian Finance Officer to join our College in a part-time position based at our Kenwick campus. As our College continues to grow in both size and operational complexity, we are seeking a highly motivated professional who is passionate about serving others and using their financial expertise to support the life and mission of our community.
If you are ready to use your financial skills in service of God’s work and to support and uplift the College community, we would love to hear from you!
About Rehoboth
As the first Christian parent-governed school in Western Australia, we are pioneers of distinctly Christian education. Our rich heritage stretches back almost sixty years; we have learned a fair bit in that time and are always seeking ways to improve and innovate.
Rehoboth exists to partner with families in their God-given task of nurturing and educating their children. You will be joining a community of staff and families who are united in our mission to equip students to think and live for the glory of God.
About the Position
As a member of the Finance Team, you will assist the Finance Manager and Accounts and Payroll Officer by providing support for a broad range of financial processes.
The key objectives and duties of the role include:
- highly accurate financial calculations and transactions using the College’s accounting system,
- preparation of reconciliations, expense reports, journal entries, recurring provisions etc,
- maintenance of the College’s fixed asset register, and
- assisting with month/end of year reporting and associated processes.
The successful candidate will be details-oriented and possess excellent interpersonal skills. Familiarity with TASS and experience in a school setting would be highly regarded, but not essential.
The position is part-time (0.6 FTE) with regular flexible working days on offer and commences 29 June 2026 (or as soon as available).
What You Need to Succeed
Apart from the necessary qualifications, we look for people who are a great cultural fit. Rehoboth is a community of Christians – parents and staff alike – and we are all about supporting each other in our spiritual walks and encouraging students to explore their faith and discover their God-given gifts.
Because of the deeply Christian nature of our College, we consider all staff to be role models to students, no matter what position they have. We take your active involvement in a local Protestant Christian church, a deeply committed Christian lifestyle, and ability to articulate your personal Christian faith as evidence of your desire to help build a vibrant Christian community at Rehoboth.
Applicants must demonstrate (by way of a testimonial letter from your pastor/elder):
- an active involvement in a local Protestant Christian church, and
- a consistent and exemplary Christian lifestyle.
