Compliance Administrator (Part-Time)

We are seeking a highly motivated administrator and confident communicator to join our team in a part-time capacity (3 days a week) as a Compliance Administrator.

If you are details-focused, possess well-developed written and oral communication skills, are tech-savvy, embrace a forward-thinking approach, and have a love for sharing life and faith with colleagues, this is the role for you.

About the Position
You will be assisting with the administrative duties of all things compliance at Rehoboth. This will include duties relating to workplace compliance, applying policy and procedures, maintaining College registration, and helping to ensure we meet all our risk, WHS, and other legal requirements. Following up on all non-compliant activities to ensure we are meeting our statutory obligations.

Working closely with our Projects Manager, you will oversee the implementation and maintenance of our new online compliance system and ensure the College adheres to all its legal requirements, including the new Work Health and Safety Act 2020.

The role will also support our office administration team as required, including reception back up, directing calls, greeting visitors, taking payments from families, and so on.

You will also need to have exceptional interpersonal and technical skills and an outstanding ability to work collaboratively with staff.

Here are the essential criteria for the position:

  • you must be actively involved in a local Protestant Christian church and be able to demonstrate an exemplary Christian lifestyle;
  • you must hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check;
  • you must be willing to obtain a Department of Education Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check;
    • you will need to demonstrate an ability to synthesise information from different sources and write a clear summary;
  • demonstrate the ability to quickly master our online compliance system and help others to use that system;
  • relevant qualifications will be favourable, but not essential;
  • prior experience in schools and/or a working knowledge of legislation relevant to schools is beneficial, but not essential;
  • previous administrative experience is essential; and
