Our Year 11 Geography students explored the intersection of policy, production, and people. They gained fresh insights into the wine industry in Swan Valley!
On 12 August, our Year 11 ATAR Geography students joined Dale Christian College and Providence Christian College for a joint excursion to the Swan Valley. Blessed with crisp winter skies and warm afternoon sun, students explored how government policies, institutional influences, and consumer trends shape the wine industry.
At Olive Farm and Upper Reach Wineries, they observed vineyard production processes, learned about distribution networks, and engaged in discussions with industry experts. The combined school setting fostered collaboration and fresh perspectives, leaving students with a deeper appreciation of how geography connects with politics, commerce, and culture. Above all, we thank God for the opportunities to learn, for the beauty of His creation, and for the fellowship shared with one another.
