Day 4 of Canberra – 21 June
Our day started with breakfast at Sundown Villas before we set off for Parliament House. The Year 7s enjoyed morning tea and took a group photo on the forecourt.
We were amazed by the impressive architecture and grand structure of Parliament House, which added to the excitement of touring the Senate and House of Representatives, followed by an engaging session at the Parliamentary Education Office.
Lunch was at Cotter Dam, providing a scenic break before we visited the Canberra Deep Space Communication Complex for an educational program about space communication technology.
The day concluded with an afternoon tea at the complex’s grounds and then dinner back at Sundown Villas. In the evening, we had a devotion led by Mr Cater, followed by games and watching the footy.
