Favourable Results from the ACC Swimming Carnival

Spurred on by the best cheer squad, our swimmers performed awesomely on the day.

After winning our previous division back in 2019 (and with carnivals cancelled during 2020 owing to Covid), Rehoboth moved up into G Division and were met with competition from both some large schools and intense competitors.

Spurred on by the best cheer squad on the day, including a renewed rendition of College Captain, Zac Blennerhassett’s motivational speech, our swimmers performed awesomely on the day. It was great to see our skilled swimmers representing our College as well as those who have newly come to our school swim squad, and even students that are keen to just do their best and represent the college. Interschool carnivals are a great way to test our abilities against a much wider field.

Thank you to our awesome student officials who worked hard all day – Brijill Rompas, Avery Wrener, Ryan Campbell, Zac Blennerhassett, Charlotte Philipps, Tayla Whittle and Toby de Bruyn. Thanks also to Mrs Erispe, Mr Peletier and Mr Butson for getting each swimmer to their race on time, providing First Aid and keeping the team in check.

Congratulations to Aberly Arianto in Year 9 and Kayla Bongers in Year 11 who took out their respective Age Champions awards, and the Year 10-12 Girls who won the Senior Girl Trophy.
