As part of our Christian Perspectives Program, students took part in a special day out featuring three guest speakers from churches across the community: Justin Fourie from Gosnells Baptist Church, Jordan Thyer from Providence Church Midland, and Dan Rogers from East Fremantle Baptist Church.
A huge thank you goes to Gosnells Baptist Church for generously hosting us. The day was a wonderful success, and we are grateful for their hospitality and support.
The sessions gave students the opportunity to explore what it means to develop a Biblical worldview and to find their identity in Christ and the authority of His Word. Through honest and engaging conversation, our speakers encouraged students to consider how faith shapes character, guides decision-making, and helps us seek God’s will in every area of life.
Students were also challenged to reflect on how Christians are called to engage positively with the world, living with humility, integrity, and a heart of service. These are values we hope out students carry with them well beyond the classroom.
We are thankful for the time and wisdom Justin, Jordan, and Dan shared with our students, and for the ongoing partnership with churches like Gosnells Baptist Church who make days like possible.
A big thank you as well to everyone behind the scenes who helped bring the day together, and a special shout out to Joel Kim and Jamie Matthews for their fantastic job as MCs. They kept the day running smoothly and helped make it such an enjoyable one for everyone.
