On Thursday 21 September, Wilson’s entire student body sang the truths of Scripture together at our school concert, filling the gymnasium with the sounds of “I Believe”. Credo 2017 was a celebration of the rediscovery of Biblical truths during the Protestant Reformation 500 years ago. The venue was “standing room” only as many family and friends attended.
We were privileged to “meet” Martin Luther, William Tyndale, John Calvin, John Wesley, and John Newton as “The Doctor” (our very own caretaker-come-Hollywood leading man) and two “Travelers” (Georgia Strickling and Zoe Watson) visited the past in their “Tardis”.
Each class performed items related to the Five Solas – Faith Alone, Grace Alone, Christ Alone, Scripture Alone and Glory to God Alone. Our students enthusiastically danced and sang and then reminded us of great hymns of the faith in our Hymn Medley.
We are so thankful to God for people of both the past and present who point us to Scripture and remind us of the great salvation that Jesus has accomplished for us.
