Our Mission Support Day was a heartwarming success, with the school community generously donating pantry items for families in need.
What an incredible Mission Support Day we had this term!
Instead of collecting money this time, we tried something new – gathering pantry items for families in need. And wow, did the school community get on board! The generosity poured in, with families bringing in food and essential items. It was such a beautiful reminder of how God calls us to care for others and how powerful it is when we answer that call together.
A huge shoutout to our amazing Year 6 Mission Team, who were absolute champions. They went from class to class collecting donations, and came back with trolley after trolley full and then packed them into boxes.
When Jackie from the Food Outlet at Grace Christian Church in Armadale received the donations, she was completely blown away (the photo says it all)! It was an honour for the students to be presented with a Certificate of Appreciation from Jackie at our recent Assembly and a blessing to be able to support this ministry.
To all our students and families who generously supported the Mission Day, thank you! What a wonderful opportunity for our school community to show the love of Christ in a very tangible way.
