We are truly grateful for the incredible women in our school community who pour so much of themselves into their families, and we pray they feel deeply valued and loved, not just on Mother’s Day, but every day.
Our Wilson Campus classrooms were filled with joy and love as we celebrated a very special Mother’s Day Morning. We were blessed to welcome mums, grandmothers, and mother-figures into our learning spaces to share in a morning of connection, creativity, and gratitude.
During the morning, children and their special guests took part in meaningful activities and crafts, creating memories that will be treasured. It was truly touching to witness the smiles, the pride, and the simple joy of being together. These shared moments reminded us of the powerful role mothers and mother-figures play in nurturing, guiding, and encouraging our children everyday.
We had a delightful lineup of fun-filled activities planned for our Kindergarten children and their wonderful mums and grandmothers! The day was bursting with joy and creativity as little hands got busy making adorable marshmallow teacups – a sweet treat almost too cute to eat! The children also had a blast decorating sparkling crowns, fit for the queens they were celebrating.
Our classroom was transformed into a magical space filled with laughter and love. Together with their mums, the children enjoyed colouring in, creating beautiful memories one crayon stroke at a time. There was also a craft station where the children created a gorgeous bouquet of paper flowers, each stem made with love and care.
But the pampering didn’t stop there! We treated our lovely guests to some well-deserved relaxation at the Mini Manicure Table, where little ones painted their mums’ nails with great care and concentration. And for the ultimate treat, mums and grandmas were spoiled at our Massage Station, where the children gave gentle hand and shoulder massages, making their loved ones feel truly special.
One of the highlights of the day was our photo booth, complete with Mrs Yap’s comfy chair fun props, gorgeous frame, and big smiles. Mums and kids struck their best poses and captured beautiful snapshots of the love and laughter they shared – a perfect keepsake to treasure for years to come.
Afterwards, our special guests enjoyed a relaxing cup of tea or coffee and a light snack in the undercover area – a chance to slow down, connect with others, and feel appreciated.
We thank God for the gift of mothers – for their strength, compassion, wisdom, and love. As Proverbs 31:28 says, “Her children arise and call her blessed.” We are truly grateful for the incredible women in our school community who pour so much of themselves into their families, and we pray they feel deeply valued and loved, not just on Mother’s Day, but every day.
May God continue to bless and sustain our mums and all they do.
