Book Week turned our Wilson Campus into a vibrant celebration of imagination. Stories leapt off the pages and filled every corner with colour, laughter, and joy.
Last week, our school was filled with colour, laughter, and the joy of stories as we celebrated Book Week 2025! It was such a blessing to see our students, families, and teachers come together to honour the gift of reading and creativity that God has given us.
In classrooms, teachers led all sorts of activities to keep the reading fun alive. From “Drop Everything and Read!” sessions, to book reviews on our favourite books, and even opportunities for students to create their own books, our children were reminded that stories are not just something to read they are something to share, enjoy, and even create themselves.
One of the highlights was our Book Fair. The library was buzzing with excitement as children browsed the tables, discovering new adventures, fascinating facts, and stories that sparked their imaginations. Thank you to our wonderful parents and families for supporting this event, not only does it encourage a love of reading, but it also helps us grow our library resources for every student to enjoy.
Of course, Book Week wouldn’t be complete without our Book Parade! From much-loved classics to creative new characters, the parade was a celebration of stories brought to life. It was delightful to see the effort families put into costumes, and the pride students showed as they walked across the stage.
At Rehoboth, we believe reading is a gift from God. Through stories, children learn about the world He has made, the people He loves, and the values that shape our lives. We are especially thankful for the way books encourage us to imagine, reflect, and grow in wisdom.
A big thank you to our staff, parents, and students for making Book Week such a joyful and memorable celebration. We pray that the excitement for reading continues to grow in every child, not just during Book Week, but every day!
