Canberra Day 3 – St Andrew’s Church, ANZAC Parade and Australian War Memorial

Today we enjoyed attending church – particularly hearing a wonderful message, revisiting the War Memorial, and travelling to Mount Ainsley.

St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church

We attended St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church where we learnt about people’s hearts which can only be changed by the Spirit of God. We enjoyed a refreshing morning tea provided by the church. Thereafter, some members of the church taught us about the history of the church.

Australian War Memorial Day 2

At the War Memorial everyone toured around the building together, looking at the artefacts that were on display. The highlight for us all was attending the Last Post Ceremony. Harry Blennerhassett and Claudia Verkerk laid a wreath to remember fallen soldiers, on behalf of Rehoboth Christian College. You can watch the whole ceremony in the video below:

What We Did at the Mountains

The view from Mount Ainsley was spectacular as we could see the entire city of Canberra.

All of us took the opportunity to take beautiful pictures of the amazing view.
