We’re incredibly proud of Year 8 student, Keira Beaver, whose artwork was selected to feature on the front cover of the DFES Annual Report! To celebrate this achievement, Keira and fellow Cadets made a special visit to the Perth Fire Station, where she was honoured by the DFES Deputy Commissioner.
At Rehoboth, our College operates a Cadet Unit under the Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES). Last term, DFES held a statewide competition to design the front cover of their Annual Report, and our Cadets were encouraged to take part. We are delighted to share that one of our talented Year 8 students, Keira Beaver, won the honour of having her artwork featured on the cover.
To acknowledge her outstanding achievement, Keira was invited to the Perth Fire Station along with several other Year 8 students who also participate in Cadets. There, she was presented with a framed copy of her original artwork, a certificate, and a $500 gift card from the DFES Deputy Commissioner, DC Waters.
