Wow, Term 3 flew by in Year 3 Red! We’ve had an action-packed term with exciting events almost every week.
Here’s a quick look back at what we’ve been up to:
Week 5
Our Cross Country Carnival was a huge success! Although running such a long distance was challenging, everyone did an incredible job and completed the race with enthusiasm.
After the carnival, we had our Book Week Parade. It was a blast dressing up as our favourite book characters and celebrating the stories we love!
Week 6
We kicked off the week with a fantastic maths incursion. We got to use our math skills in a hands-on way, and the activities were so much fun to solve. Thank you to the Year 5 students who came along to assist us!
Later in the week, we visited Bunnings to make a special Father’s Day gift. We created and decorated our own knots and crosses board games using paint sticks. It was a lot of fun! We hope our dads liked the DIY gifts!
Week 8
Our Art Festival began, and we explored the world of stained-glass art. We learned how stained glass in churches was used to tell Bible stories to people who couldn’t read. It’s been a creative and inspiring term!
We can’t wait to see what the next term will bring. Keep up the great work, Year 3 Red!
