Our Year 3R students stepped into the story of Exodus with skits, songs, and hands-on learning that made God’s Word come alive. From the 10 plagues to the Tabernacle, they discovered His power, faithfulness, and care in unforgettable ways.
Over Term 3, our Year 3R students have been diving into Book of Exodus and learning about the incredible story of the Israelites’ journey out of Egypt. We explored how God rescued His people from slavery and learnt about the ten plagues that showed His power and faithfulness. To bring the story to life, the students worked together to create a fun and thoughtful skit, acting out the dramatic moments of 10 plagues.
Our learning didn’t stop there, we also discovered how God continued to care for the Israelites in the wilderness, despite the grumbling by providing for their needs along the way. One of our favourite parts was learning about the building of the Tabernacle, also known as the Tent of Meeting. It was the one special place where the Israelites could meet with God, but we learnt it wasn’t easy and there were many rules, with only certain allowed to enter and who they were. This inspired our assembly item, where students shared what they’d learnt through a beautiful song.
It’s been a wonderful learning about God’s promises and care for His people. Our God is truly a gracious and awesome God!
