It's a wonderfully exciting time of year in the Kindy zone!
We have been meeting all of our new Kindy children and parents for next year as well as saying farewell to our current Kindy students who will be moving on to Pre-Primary.
We had an Orientation Day for our 2020 Kindy students and parents on Friday 22 November. It was a great time to meet and welcome our new families, as well as welcome younger siblings of families that we are already familiar with. After introducing ourselves to everyone, the parents had an informative chat with our Principal, Mrs Pleysier, about all things to do with Kindy. In the meantime, the teachers had the pleasure of getting to know the children and got to share a drink and a snack.
The following Friday, 29 November, was our combined 2019 Kindy Graduation! This year has been a wonderful year of growth and learning for the children. As a Kindy team, we are thankful to the Lord for the amazing children that we have been blessed with, and the fantastic privilege that it is to ‘grow’ our children to independence, just as a caterpillar grows into a butterfly. The Kindy children did a fabulous job of showcasing their talents through the song ‘If I Were a Butterfly’ and various artworks, and gladly accepted their graduating certificate from Mrs Pleysier!
We then celebrated with our families over a wonderful morning tea in our Early Childhood outdoor area! Thank you to parents and grandparents for making this a great morning of celebration with our school community! What a blessing!
