Milestone moments invite both celebration and reflection, and the Senior Ball provided a special opportunity for students to pause and enjoy the journey they have shared. Set against the stunning backdrop of Kings Park, the evening brought together friendship, gratitude, and joy in a way that truly lived up to its theme.
On Thursday, April 16th, students from Rehoboth Christian College gathered for an unforgettable evening at Fraser’s Kings Park, embracing the theme A Night to Remember in every sense.
The evening began on the lawns of Kings Park, where students arrived dressed with elegance and excitement. With sweeping views over the city and a glowing sunset settling across Perth, the pre-ball photos captured a moment that felt both celebratory and reflective of the journey through senior school.
From there, students made their way to the lawn area outside Fraser’s State Reception Centre, where mocktails were served as anticipation built. As the doors opened, guests stepped into a venue defined by its breathtaking panoramic outlook over the city skyline and the Swan River.
Dinner was a buffet-style experience, thoughtfully prepared and enjoyed by all. The atmosphere shifted seamlessly into celebration as the dance floor came alive. The ballroom dancing lessons from Senior Sport proved worthwhile, with the team from Humphreys Dance Studio guiding and calling the dances, ensuring everyone could take part with confidence.
Throughout the night, the photobooth remained a popular hub, capturing laughter, friendships, and memories that will last well beyond the evening. Dessert brought a fun and refreshing finish, with gelato cones enjoyed by all.
As the music continued, the dance floor quickly became the centre of the celebration, with students and teachers alike joining in. It was a joyful reminder of the strong community that defines the college.
It was, in every way, A Night to Remember.
