On Friday, 17 October, our Year 7 students had the privilege of immersing themselves in Perth’s vibrant cultural precinct. Looking back, it was a day filled with curiosity and discovery. At the State Library of WA, students engaged in hands-on workshops and explored an exhibition that sparked meaningful conversations about research and source-finding.
One of the standout moments was visiting the WA Museum’s Terracotta Warriors special exhibition.
Students were captivated by the archaeological displays, asking insightful questions that will undoubtedly enrich their upcoming HASS studies.
We were delighted to share the experience with the Year 9 Mandarin class, whose cultural and language perspectives added depth to the day. Our Year 11 Student Leaders demonstrated outstanding leadership, and we are deeply grateful to the parents who volunteered as helpers.
Reflecting on the excursion, it was more than just a day out. It was an opportunity for our College community to learn, connect, and represent ourselves with curiosity and respect in the heart of the city.
