A Celebration of Spirit and Community

House Swimming Carnival Banner

The day was a vibrant celebration of spirit and community, with Wycliffe House merging victorious.

The recent Secondary Swimming Carnival was a day filled with excitement, determination, and incredible displays of teamwork. With the sun shining over the pool, students from Wycliffe, Newton, and Tyndale dove into the competition, giving their best efforts in every race and event.

More than just a day of races, the carnival was an opportunity to glorify God through perseverance, encouragement, and sportsmanship. Whether competing for first place or simply pushing themselves to finish strong, each student played a part in making the event a success. It was inspiring to see so many students striving to earn points for their House while supporting their teammates with cheers and encouragement.

A special congratulations to Wycliffe House, who emerged victorious at the end of the day! Their dedication and effort earned them the overall win, but all three Houses should be incredibly proud of their achievements.

One of the true highlights of the carnival was the outstanding House Spirit on display. The atmosphere was electric as students cheered, waved banners, and supported their peers with enthusiasm. A huge well done to the House Captains for leading by example and fostering such an encouraging and uplifting environment.

Ultimately, the swimming carnival was more than just a competition – it was a celebration of community, perseverance, and giving our best for God’s glory. Thank you to all the students, staff, and parents who made the day such a success. Big thanks to Miss Cowie for her coordination of the Carnival. Age Champions and Runners-up will be announced at the next school assembly. We look forward to a bigger and even better even next year!
