Rehoboth’s Junior Boys and Girls basketball teams put on an impressive display at the inter-school tournament at Willetton Basketball Stadium. From championship wins to moments of leadership, teamwork, and resilience, it was a memorable day for our students.
It was a fantastic day of competition at Willetton Basketball Stadium, where our Junior Boys and Girls basketball teams proudly represented the school in the inter-school tournament.
Our Junior Girls team enjoyed a truly outstanding day on the court, playing confident, high‑quality basketball from their very first game. Their teamwork and determination saw them go undefeated throughout the tournament, culminating in a well‑deserved Grand Final victory against Providence. The girls returned home as champions, a remarkable achievement built on consistency, effort, and heart. Special mentions go to Emma, Eloise, Eunice, and Tana, who continually lifted the team with their energy, skill, and leadership.
The Junior Boys team faced a challenging pool draw but rose to the occasion with grit and resilience. They battled hard through every match, securing three wins and three losses to finish 6th overall, an impressive effort given the strength of their competition. Louis and Hayden stood out for their work rate and leadership, regularly encouraging and inspiring their teammates across the day.
Congratulations to all students involved for their fantastic effort, teamwork, and sportsmanship. You represented the school with pride, and we couldn’t be more proud of you.
