On 19 June, three of our Year 11 Chemistry students represented Rehoboth Christian College in the 2018 Titration Stake Competition, a very prestigious competition organised by the Royal Australian Chemical Institute that many elite schools participate in.
This year was our first time participating in this very competitive event. Despite having little experience, and a very short time to prepare, our students gave a marvellous performance on the night against many Year 12 student teams. As a result, they ended up ranked 31st out of 77 teams with the sum of deviation of 0.00001481, which was way ahead of many of the other elite school teams.
I would like to congratulate the students for their God-honouring commitment, dedication and achievement, and thank God for the overwhelming support from both staff and parents who accompanied our students to the competition.
