Volunteering

We are privileged to have a number of parents who have taken the initiative to run fundraising, volunteer for the canteen roster, assist in classrooms, and so on

Volunteering

As a parent-controlled school, it is one of our great pleasures to see parents, grandparents, uncles and aunties taking advantage of opportunities to take part in their children’s class activities and engage with the College.

We are currently re-building our community support team in order to provide the most relevant and productive avenues for parents to volunteer and engage with the College. In the meantime, we are privileged to have a number of parents who have taken the initiative to run fundraising, volunteer for the canteen roster, assist in classrooms, and so on. Your newsletters are also full of other opportunities as they come up throughout the year.

Full Association Members are also eligible to volunteer for Board membership.

College Support

Many of the activities you are able to be involved in qualify for our College Support discount. All you need to do is complete 5 hours of approved activities over the course of a semester, and submit your completed form to the Business Office by the stated due date. Your discount will then be processed and applied to your next statement.

Activities that qualify for College Support include, but are not limited to:

  • Canteen
  • Office administration support
  • General gardening and maintenance
  • Classroom assistance
  • Information communication technology
  • Accompaniment on excursions
  • Accompaniment on camps

We welcome your enquiries about other qualifying activities at any of our campus offices. A College Support form is available for downloaded here, under the “Forms and Applications” heading.
