Newton House Makes History

A piece of Rehoboth history was made today as Newton House won the 2017 Primary Swimming Carnival.

For many years the Newton team has watched on as their counterparts held up numerous trophies, but finally it was their turn, edging out Tyndale 1048 to 1034. Wycliffe rounded out the table with 988 points, making the Carnival a closely fought competition.

Basketball Grand Finals 2016

Year 7-8 Division Grand Final

The Raptors took on the table-topping Warriors to see who would come out on top in the Year 7-8 basketball grand final played today.

The game was hotly contested from the start, with each team going bucket for bucket.

Year 6 Boys Take Out the WACSSA Basketball Championship

Rehoboth continued its fine run of form in WACSSA Basketball Carnivals this year by winning the Year 6 Boys Division A competition. The event, held on Friday 29 July at the Bendat Stadium, saw a Rehoboth team made up of students from both the Wilson and Kenwick campuses competing against teams from Swan, Carey, Kalamunda, and Dale.

WACSSA Primary Athletics Carnival

On Friday, 30 October the Rehoboth runners took to the track to compete in the WACSSA Athletics Carnival. Competition between the 7 schools in Division 1 was intense. After a score update halfway through the day (and including the results from the Jumps and Throws) Rehoboth was in front by 100 points.

Tuesday, 27 October saw our Primary Athletics Team competing at the WACSSA Primary Jumps and Throws Carnival. The Breakers took on the Spurs and, created lots of opportunities to score in transition. They jumped out to an early lead, and took the ball strongly to the basket, led by Jairus Magsaysay, Brodie Blennerhassett and Matt Catterall. WACSSA Basketball Carnival

On Friday, 14 August, three teams from Rehoboth set out to Ray Owen Recreation Centre in Lesmurdie to compete against other Christian Schools in the annual Secondary Interschool Basketball Carnival.

Under the coaching of Mr Peletier, Mrs Klomp, Year 11 student Isaac Koh and assisted by Mrs Musulin, Mr de Bruyn, and a small cheer squad of parents, our three teams performed outstandingly well, exhibiting fantastic sportsmanship, effort and tenacity.
